Land rates hiked in state

Hyderabad: State Government has issued GO no:157 increasing the market value of lands state wide. As per the GO new rates would come into effect from 1st April. The rates are hiked heavily. Almost 20 to 60 percent hike is seen for Hyderabad lands and at a few places hike is seen also to 100%.

Estimation is that Government would be profited by around 3000 crores with this increased rates now. The new rates would come into effect from 1st of April, meaning the day after tomorrow. Thus the crowd for registrations at various offices had piled up as tomorrow is a holiday (Sunday). The same is seen throughout the state.

Land rates too were hiked along with the registration charges now. Square yard land in the costliest Jubilee hills area now is hiked to 45000 Rs. The same in Yousufguda is around 42000 and in Erramanjil and Narayanguda is around 34000 and 32000Rs. The same is about 30000 in Madhapur and 15000 at Kondapur.
