On the other hand, the promos of the Hindi version (Zanjeer) will be unveiled only two days after the release of Thoofan's content. All these developments are said to be a part of particular strategy to send the message to the audience that Telugus are always the first priority of the Megas.
Thoofan/Zanjeer stars Ram Charan and Priyanka Chopra in the lead. The film is also a launch pad for Charan in Bollywood. Both Sanjay Dutt and Srihari are playing the iconic character of Sher Khan in Hindi and Telugu versions respectively. While Prakash Raj plays the villain, Mahie Gill will be seen in a glamorous avatar as a vamp. Music of the film is by Meet Brothers and Ganesh Acharya composed choreography for some foot tapping numbers. Both Charan (Mumbai Ka Hero) and Priyanka (Pinky) have solo songs in the movie. Director Yogi of Chintakayala Ravi fame have done the supervision for the Telugu version to suit the sensibilities of the audience here.
