Speaking to the media later, he said he prayed the Lord that the nation should be peaceful. He said the UPA government was protecting the law and order in the country well. He said the intelligence machinery was further alerted to nab the terrorists who triggered twin blasts in Hyderabad.
Earlier Shinde visited the Padmavati temple. Soon after landing at the Renigunta airport, he drove to Tiruchanur and had darshan of the Goddess. Temple authorities got the posters of the ‘Subha Pradam’ programme beginning on May 12, released by the minister. He said he was happy that he got the opportunity to release the posters.
