Sobhan Babu is one of the rare heroes in the Telugu film industry who could equally balance his family life along with profession in his career of Three and half decades at a stretch. After acting for 37 years, Sobhan thought to retire from films. He later did not agree though he got many offers to act. There were also a few producers who offered him with blank cheques, but he did not agree. He spend his time with his family members till his last minutes.
He breathed his last on 20th March 2008, at his own house in Chennai.
