There are many actresses who ruled the cinema industry as heroines and then disappeared but again they came back for second innings and it didn’t really work. However, that has not been the case with Sridevi. She came back after a gap of more than 15 years and still she scored a big success with her film ‘English Vinglish’.
Now, Sridevi is going international with her film. It is heard that soon this film will be dubbed in German and will be released in April. Not only that, the makers has decided to release the film in Hong Kong across seven theatres and provide Cantonese sub titles. This would mean nearly 29 shows a days.
The person behind this is the director Gauri Shinde and her husband Balki. If everything goes as per plan then Sridevi’s film will become the first Indian film to have widest ever openings in Hong Kong. The story is about an Indian housewife and her struggles to overcome the language of English.
