TDP former minister to join TRS

TDP senior leader and former minister Chandrasekhar has said that he would be joining the TRS. He has dismissed reports that he left TDP as he was hurt by the party not nominating him to the legislative council. He said he was not interested in power or positions, but was only hurt because the party had not supported the no-confidence motion moved by the TRS against the government.

Chandrsekhar sent his resignation to the party office. Speaking to the media on the   occasion, he said he would participate in the sadak bandh called by the Telangana JAC.

Chandrasekhar said he was pained that the TDP was not bothering about the problems faced by the people of Telangana.

It is learnt that Chandrasekhar talked to the TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao and on getting assurance from him announced his decision to join the TRS.
