US coming up & India going down!

America has the biggest financial system in the world, standing up facing the troubles and blows. The largest democratic country of the World, India is in troubled state for the last few years. Though India was praised as a country which could stand up in recession period better than America and other nations is now deteriorating in achieving a growth in financial rate.
The greatest challenge before America after the recession was to provide employment. Obama govt is slowly putting the country back on track in this regard. Around 2,36,000 new jobs were given in America just in the last one month. With this the unemployment rate has dropped down by 7.7%. America is already a developed nation. But showing the livelihood to its public has become a tough exam for the govt. But signs are being seen slowly that Obama is able to live upto the expectations kept by the public on him.
Indian financial status is been declining. Though a renowned finance wizard like Manmohan Singh is our Prime Minister, it is travelling in reverse gear. How many more decades should India stand as the developing nation and not a developed nation. Public hoped Manmohan govt to do wonders in this matter. But, looking at the past Nine years of his rule growth rate, inflation.. all are depressing. Industrial productivity rate has grown to 2.4%, but the rates are still a burden. The consuming inflation is not coming down, rather has grown from 10.79 to 10.91%. Only list, where India has creeped up is in corruption. India is one among the countries in top level in this sector alone.
Human Development Index, HDI is a measurement to state how developed is a state and what is the status of people in a particular country. India is very bad even at this. Our rank in the list is 134. Our neighbouring country Sri Lanka is far better with a rank of 97. Maldives, smallest nation which depends on India in many matters too is better on 109th rank. Iraq, the country which is suffering from daily violence too is better than India.
One more interesting fact is that we think Africa is a dark and hungry continent. But 19 countries from Africa are in better position of HDI compared to India. This is a tough truth to believe. Our Government has Ministers who dare to catch CAG falsative when it calculated the losses through various scams. Centre is always into giving statements doing wonders though there are increasing comments of corruption and decreasing rate of development.
The only thing we can do as of now is to hope that Manmohan would atleast now control the corruption, eradicate poverty and give food to the hungry in the left over term and get back the country on track.
