New Delhi: A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped near a public toilet in the Bardarpur area of south Delhi. The victim was found with her throat slit on Friday evening after which she was admitted at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
As per the reports, the girl was attacked by unidentified men inside the toilet, which is near the slum where she lived. The victim underwent operation at AIIMS yesterday.
According to police, they are awaiting a medical report of the girl to confirm if she was sexually assaulted.
Sources say that the victim's condition is stable now.
Investigation is on and police have detained 22 people including the attendant of the public toilet for questioning.
