Barfi rocks at Japan film festival!

The debut film of Ileana, who is been a top heroine at the South, Barfi has once again proved its stamina. This film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra along with Ileana has rocked at Japan Film festival and has bagged a prestigious award in the international level.

Interesting fact is that Burfi could not bag even a single award at the national level. But has bagged the grand award of best film from Grand jury at the Akinava film festival. Surprisingly it had even beaten the Hollywood film 'Beasts of Southern Wild' in the competition.
The film 'Beast of Southern Wild' had bagged 4 Oscar nominations along with three awards at the Canes film festival. Now Burfi beating such film to bag the grand award is a great achievement. Director Anurag Basu is on cloud nine with this and is proudly saying that this award is not just his but belongs to the entire nation.
