CM's response on Electricity charges hike!

Hyderabad : CM Kiran Kumar Reddy has responded on the protest from the oppositions on the hike of Electricity charges. Speaking on Sunday Kiran said The burden on public from the hike would not be as much being publicised by media. At the same time CM said he would see to that this would not burden the poor.

He informed to be holding discussions on 4th and 5th of April in Hyderabad about this matter. He stated to re examine the recommendations of ERC about the Electricity charge hikes. CM said an allocation of Rs 5700 crores is made in the budget for Elec subsidies. This indicates that CM may be going back a bit on this matter.

On the other hand, oppositions had already intensified their protests on the hike of Electricity charges. Left parties and TDP had protested till yesterday and now it is BJP's turn. They warned to bring down the Kiran Government at any cost. On the whole oppositions are making the Congress Govt sweat with protests.
