Congress minister and Megastar Chiru's associate C Ramachandraiah is busy cracking a whip on Telugudesam chief Chandrababu Naidu. He says that Kapus in the state are not the commodities to purchase.
The reason for C Ramachandraiah's stark remark is TDP Chief Naidu's promise of giving 5000 crores special package to Kapus in the state. Naidu stated during his walkathon that he is also thinking of giving reservation status to poor Kapus in the state. However, all these things are troubling Chiru's camp that is entirely dependent on Kapu vote banks. C Ramachandraiah might have felt that all the Kapus in the state are with Chiru and Congress, and TDP Chief's special package will lure them towards Telugudesam side. But if all Kapus are on Chiru's side then the erstwhile PRP might have been ruling this state from 2009.
Political surveys indicate that majority of Kapus are still with TDP only and it looks like C Ramachandraiah's remarks will not make any Kapu leader bid farewell to Naidu, who happens to be the imminent CM of Andhra Pradesh in 2014.
