With media speculating that our lady minister will quit, Home Minister Sabitha has finally shared with reporters that our kind CM has rejected her resignation. Reportedly Kiran advised to her that after going through the charge sheet with the help of legal experts, and with decision from party High Command, she should take further step but not now. Fact is that Sonia Gandhi is right now on Italy tour and will be back only in a couple of days to listen to this issue.
Already CBI filed a petition to issue summons to Sabitha saying that she benefitted Dalmiya Cements by granting mines for investing in Jagan's companies as quid pro quo. But if Sabitha resigns, the investigation agency might seek for a warrant to arrest her. Even if Sonia Gandhi looks into the issue, she might not ask Sabitha to continue in the post.
So, Sonia Gandhi's Italy tour has given some time for Sabitha to rethink all strategies. Let us see what happens.
