    No relief for Jagan till May 13

    Remand for Jagan extended to may 13th, jagan Remand Extended, YS Jagan plea to consider 5th charge sheet as final one, YS Jagan Bail petition
    A special CBI court on Monday extended the judicial remand of Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy and few others who were in Chanchalguda prison in connection with the illegal assets case till May 13th.

    Interestingly, the CBI has produced Jagan, former excise minister Mopidevi Venkataramana, industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad and senior bureaucrat KV Brahmananda Reddy in the special court through a video-conference. AP minister Dharmana Prasad Rao who was named as one of the accused in the charge sheet filed by CBI too appeared before the court Today.

    CBI accused Jagan of getting huge investments from individuals and firms into his business ventures as quid-pro-quo for favors received from government during YS Rajasekhar Reddy's rule. Recently, the court even rejected the plea made by Jagan and his auditor Vijay Sai Reddy to consider the fifth charge sheet as the final one.

    Jagan was taken into custody by CBI on May 27th last year. Until now, the CBI has filed five charge sheets apart from two supplementary charge sheets against Jagan and few others.
