NTR defies Balayya: Will be expelled?

The tussle between the Nandamuri scions Bala Krishna and Jr. NTR is continuing with no let up or compromise. Despite the warning of Balayya that stern action would be taken against is brother’s son, if he did not condemn the use of his pictures by the YSR Congress, Jr. NTR continues to remain silent. Meanwhile, as if to provoke Balayya more Flexi banners appeared in the name of MLAs Kodali Nani and Perni Nani.

YSR Congress is doing its best to make the best use of the tiff between Balayya and Jr. NTR. There is widespread debate on the silence of NTR over the warning issued by Bala Krishna. Some say this is an indication that he is determined to defy. There is also criticism that NTR who always mentions the name of his grand-father N T Rama Rao is indirectly helping the defeat of the TDP he had founded. Reports suggest that he would work for the defeat of the TDP in the 2014 elections. Observers say that though he might not directly oppose the TDP, he would do so by supporting the YSR Congress which is keen on defeating the TDP in the coastal region.

The continued silence of NTR has already given an impression that he is supporting the YSR Congress and his protégées in the party. Chandrababu Naidu is said to be worried about the war between Bala Krishna and NTR. Instead of handling the defiance of NTR delicately, Balayya spoiled the atmosphere by openly threatening the fellow hero who has huge fan following, in a public press conference. It is because of this immature handling of the issue by Balayya that NTR who felt humiliated, chose to remain silent say sources. Political observers also state that the defiance of NTR was witnessed when he organized a large gathering for the audio launch of ‘Baadshah’ and the large turnout of his fans during his recent visit to Vijayawada which was boycotted by the TDP ranks on the instructions of Bala Krishna. It is being said that NTR was very much hurt that Balayya chose to snub him. After fighting for the rights of his mother who was disowned by the family, he is now fighting for his own rightful position in the family say sources. It is being said that NTR was hurt that Balayya had not said “NTR is our family member and we will talk to him”, when media asked him about the flexi banners.

    Chandrababu worried

Chandrababu is reportedly of the view that TDP would face problems if Jr. NTR’s photos were used by the YSR Congress. It is learnt that the party should not remain silent on this serious issue and it would be better to take action against NTR. If Chandrababu is convinced that such an action would be necessary, NTR might be issued a formal show cause notice and if he defies, he would be expelled from the party.

Flexis appear with NTR’s pictures again

The warning of Bala Krishna that he would sue the YSR congress for using the photos of his father N T Rama Rao, does not appear to have unnerved Jagan’s party. On Sunday, once again a flexi of YSR congress appeared in Machilipatnam. The flexi contained the pictures of late NTR, Jr. NTR, Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani and Machilipatnam MLA Perni Nani. Jagan party leader Ram Prasad has set up this flexi. The flexi said “Badushani Touch Cheste Sound Solid gaa Vuntundi”.  Kodali Nani has already clarified that anyone other than Chandrababu Naidu who backstabbed N T Rama Rao and caused his death, had the right to use the flexi of the senior NTR.
