It is known that Rajamouli began hunt for the actors and in the process he preferred a star hunt process to choose the best from the aspiring actors. The response for the casting call is so high that the production team has no option but to block the applications.
Out of 13,000 applications, about 2,000 have been short listed. The selected candidates were informed about the process and called for auditions. Surprisingly, only half of them turned up and from them 50 persons were picked up. After 2 days into the rigorous training, half of them disappeared leaving Rajamouli and his team in a state of shock.
We usually come across the statements from 'unsuccessful' people that they haven't got the opportunity even though they are talented and hardworking. But the fact is that these complaining group actually don't know how to use the opportunity offered to them. The same thing happened in the case of Bahubali's star hunt as well.
