It is already known that hot dusky siren Priyamani is coming as 'Chandi'. She is going to play a multilayered role in the film that spans over decades. Latest buzz is that 'Chandi' is also going to feature old Rebel Star Krishnam Raju in a powerful role. He is going to essay the role of Asoka Gajapati Raju under the direction of talented Samudra. Though Krishnam Raju has done some urbane kind of roles in movies like 'Rebel' and 'Billa', none worked in his favour. But if he is back to his trademark veteran village head and 'peddarikam' kind of ones, he is sure going to rewrite a second innings for him. Insiders revealed that he will be seen as an honest and fierce Jamindaar who confronts the corruption.
