Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt appealed to the Supreme Court to give him few more weeks time to surrender for serving the remaining three-and-half years imprisonment. His case will come up for hearing Tomorrow.
It is known that the Sanjay was sentenced to five years imprisonment by the Supreme Court for allegedly owning fire arms including AK-56 during the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts and asked him to surrender by April 18.
This fresh petition has came as a surprise as it was just few days back Sanjay pledged during the press meet that he wouldn't seek pardon as there are many others who deserve it.
Sources say, Dutt filed the petition keeping in mind about shooting the films he is yet to wrap up. Over Rs 100 crore has been riding on him and if the actor fails to finish his work before surrendering, then the producers of those big projects are bound to incur unrepairable losses.
