A local daily reported that this app has finally come out of its beta mode, making it available to the Android users. With the help of Swype, the user can swipe across the keyboard to type words, rather than pressing the words individually.
The features of the application are given below:
Swype Living Language- It crowds the sources and updates the dictionary with the latest words. Also, all the words that are in, will get stored in the smartphone's dictionary. It also has additional languages so that the user can access their preferred language.
Next Word Prediction - This feature helps the device to learn vocabulary and also predicts the words that have been used earlier.
Personal dictionary and sync back up - It creates a dictionary based on the words used by the user. In case, the user replaces one device for another, they can take a backup of their saved dictionary.
Dragon Diction - It works on the voice command of the user i.e. the voice of the user is converted into text. The users have to press the Dragon Key so as to activate this feature. Also, it is available in 36 different languages.
Smart Editor - Points errors, sums up a sentence and gives suggestions.
This app supports four Indian languages - Tamil, Urdu, Hindi and Hinglish (a mixture of Hindi and English).
