Post the stupendous success of Rowdy Rathore (Vikramarkudu in Telugu), Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has been keen on remaking more Tollywood films.
As per the reliable sources, Akshay is very much impressed with the action entertainer 'Oosaravelli' and the multi-faceted character played by Jr NTR in the film. Reportedly, the B-own actor asked the production house 'Endemol' which is supposed to produce on his future films to acquire the rights of this Telugu flick. Producer BVSN Prasad has quoted Rs 65 lakh as price and the deal will be finalized soon.
Oosaravelli is based on the life of young man who does anything for the sake of money and what happens when he come across a girl who lost her family.
Interestingly, Akshay Kumar had acquired the remake rights of Chandrasekhar Yeleti's Prayanam which is about the love story of two passengers at an Airport. He will be producing the flick with newcomers in the lead. Good to see Telugu films reaching a wider section of audience!
