Arvind Swamy appealed to all the Indians to shun all kinds of Chinese products which are flooding into the Indian market from now onwards. He made these comments in the wake of Chinese army's intrusion of 19 kms into the Indian territory in Ladakh on the North-East border.
"Why would you buy a 'made in china' product when they have taken our land? You have a chance to broaden this protest into a movement...DO IT! From be Indian, buy Indian it NOW has to be - BE INDIAN, DON'T BUY CHINESE ( PRODUCTS). We cannot spend a paisa in support of a country that has taken our land. Please boycott chinese products, be proud, have self respect," commented the actor.
The intrusion of Chinese troops have stained the relations between both the countries. The Chinese government justified it's act until Saturday and refused to return to the line of actual control. Finally, the China troops have withdrawn on Sunday and Arvind Swamy expressed his happiness over the development
