Brand Modi Is An Utter Flop In K'taka

Narendra Modi failed to influence voters of Karnataka, Congress leading in karnataka Elections, BJP lagging behind Congress in Karnataka Elections

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is not just a BJP leader but a brand in National politics. However, all this seems to be a big hype for Karnataka people as they haven't showed any interest in this 'brand'.

Much awaited results of Karnataka polls will be out in next few hours and already Congress party is leading the show with majority in over 109 places, while BJP managed to lead in just 40 places. This is a clear cut example that Narendra Modi failed to influence voters of Karnataka though he hails himself as charismatic leader of the country. Also BJP government's continuous involvements with scams, changing of CMs due to internal rifts, and Gali Janardhan Reddy's biggest ever scandals made the Lotus Party lose almost 50% seats in the state. Already BJP parliamentary leaders have met on this occasion, to assess what went wrong. But clearly, Brand Modi will not work down South in rural areas, while educated voters of Uraban zones might show some interest.

Coming to  poll results, trends are indicating that Congress will fall  short of magic figure with just five to seven seats. The needed strength to form government is 112 seats while Cong is leading in only 109 seats for now. Looks  like India's largest party is on the lookout for alliances.
