King Nagarjuna is busy these days sharing secrets of his lean look and success of Greekuveerudu with media. But all this time, he is preaching some business laws that are not really going well with fans.
Ever since Kiran Kumar Reddy government has given nod for increase of price tickets upto 20%, many people are feeling bad about it. But Nagarjuna feels that in Europe they charge around 8 Euros (Rs 560) and without hiking ticket price there is no way to recover huge production costs. This business law exampled by Nag is irking many of his educated fans who know that there is no truth in it. 'In Europe average salary lasts between 300-1200 Euros, means Rs 21,000 - Rs 84,000. But in Andhra Pradesh where most Telugu movie watching audiences are present, the average income is around Rs 6,500. So how come ticket rates can be equal in both Europe and Tollywood?' questioned a fan.
Also Nag's repeated stressing about 'huge production costs' has won the ire of Film Critics. If a star-hero's film is made at 40 crores budget, 25 crores is just remuneration but not production cost. Maybe our heroes should cut their pay-packet rather pushing burden on to common man by supporting these ticket hikes.
