In the past few months, Cases of females driving the vehicles in an inebriated condition leading to accidents have been on a rise. The main reason behind this trend is the free drinks offered by several pubs in the Hyderabad city to attract party animals.
Most of such cases were reported in the Jubilee Hills area where pubs were built to entertain the rich. Free drinks were offered to the girls on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in the name of 'Ladies Nights' and some pubs have even begun the trend of offering free drinks to the girls who come with boys.
To put an end to this culture, the state excise department has now passed a stringent guidelines to the pubs in the city. Firstly, no such free drinks offers should be implemented from now. Secondly, Girls shouldn't be served drinks after 10 pm. The officials even warned the pub owners of stern action if they violate any of these guidelines. So, the booze girls will have a tough time from now!
