It is known that both NTR and Salman Khan have a high regard for each other. While Salman made Tarak utter the 'Any Doubts' dialogue in Yama Donga on a Chat Show, NTR played the role of this Bollywood superstar's fan in his socio-fantasy flick 'Shakti'. Now, one of them is going to remake the super hit flick of the other.
As per the reliable sources, Salman Khan is in talks with Venkateswara Hatcheries which bought the Hindi remake rights of NTR's Brundavanam for Rs 70 lakhs from producer Dil Raju.
Even Vamsi Paidipally who directed the original opines Salman would perfectly fit the multi-faceted role in the remake. He, however, made it clear about his plans to stick to Telugu films even if the offer of the remake falls in his lap.
Telugu remakes have always proved lucky for Salman, be it No Entry (Pellam Vurelithe), Wanted (Pokiri) and Ready (Ram's Ready). His next outing 'Mental' being directed by his brother Sohail Khan is a remake of Chiru's Stalin. Brundavanam has the potential to enter the Rs 150-200 crore club if Salman agrees to get into the shoes of NTR. Hopefully, everything falls in place!
