YS Bharathi's outburst in the Supreme Court, came as an unexpected shock to not just the CBI officials but also the lawyers who were arguing for Jagan's bail petition.
Apparently, Bharathi was present at the visitor's gallery in Supreme Court on Monday when the bail petition filed by Jagan came up for hearing. She lost her cool after spotting CBI DIG Venkatesh in the court hall and questioned 'Don't you have children? Why are you harassing my husband by keeping him in prison for no reason?'.
CBI DIG responded to her remarks with a smile on his face saying that no one is allowed to talk loudly in a court room. He maintained that the CBI is doing its job as per the law and advised her to keep faith in the courts.
Jagan's lawyers immediately led Bharathi out of the court room, only to make it clear such direct talk with an investigating officer proves costly. They even warned her that asking the CBI Officer about children will turn a threat and might help the CBI to delay bail for the Kadapa MP further.
