    Story :
Stylish Star Allu Arjun, Puri Jagannadh’s ”Iddarammayilatho” movie is released today.  This film is a 45 Crore Budget movie. Bandla Ganesh is the producer of the movie. Puri Jagannath is the director of the movie. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director of the movie. Allu Arjun previous one ‘Julayi’ almost big knock accordingly there are high expectations on Iddarammayilatho.

Coming to star cast  Allu Arjun, Amala Paul, Catherine Tresa, Brahmanandam,  Nassar, Kaajal Vashisht,  Subbaraju,   Devshi Khanduri ,  Srinivas Reddy, Ali all are here in the movie. Coming to the story Allu Arjun as Sanju Reddy here on the screen. He is the person who plays the guitar and he is a lead of a band. He is located in Spain. His team include include Srinivasa Reddy and others both male and female guys. Catherine Tresa as Akanksha here, She is basically affluent daughter of a Union Minister. Here Rao Ramesh as union minister on the screen. Catherine Tresa came to Spain on behalf of her higher studies. At that time she moves into a good-looking residence. Near to her residence diary is there. Here Amala Paul comes into picture. Amala Paul as Komali Sankarabharanam here. That particular diary belongs to Amala Paul. Here Brahmanandam as Phidel Brahma and Ali as a psychopath named Gudivada Krishna. Finally Allu Arjun’s presentation, Catherine’s fascination and the battle sequences are the major assets for the film. What is the connection between three (Allu Arjun, Amala Paul, and Catherine Tresa)? What happens with”Iddarammayilatho”? To know the exact movie you must watch on big screen...

    Plus Points :
Allu Arjun is at his stylish best in the movie. His costumes are very nice and his overall look is quite sophisticated. His dance has a lot of grace. He has danced to medleys of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s hit songs and these bits will entertain fans. The movie has two nice action sequences and Allu Arjun has performed quite convincingly in those episodes.
Catherine Tresa looks drop dead gorgeous in this film. Her costumes and generous skin show will drive youngsters crazy. If she plays her cards right, she is here to stay as the next big female star. The romantic episodes involving Allu Arjun and Catherine have come out well. Amala Paul is ok in the role of a traditional Brahmin girl. She has given a convincing performance as a shy and timid girl.
The interval bang has been executed well and the story gains momentum here. ‘Run Run’, ‘Violin Song’ and ‘Top Lechipoddi’ have been shot nicely. The twist in the final stages of the film is nice and the story picks up good pace from that point onwards until the climax.

    Minus Points :
The comedy episodes featuring Brahmanandam and Ali and are not very convincing. Brahmanandam will be seen as Phidel Brahma and Ali will be seen as a psychopath named Gudivada Krishna. Shawar Ali looks monotonous as an international Don. Subba Raju is wasted once again.
The pace of the movie is a little slow in the second half. The film picks up momentum only after the final twist is revealed. The placement of songs in the first half could have been better. Fans expect ‘special’ dance moves from Allu Arjun, but this film does not have any such steps.
Traditionally, a hero in a Puri Jagan film has an arrogant swagger about him. The character treatment will ensure a high entertainment quotient. But that is not the case with ‘Iddarammayilatho’. Heroism is sorely missing from Allu Arjun’s character in this movie.

    Performances :
Performance wise Stylish Star Allu Arjun had done a very good job here. His dance is superb and the action sequences also more realistic. Catherine Tresa is looking stunning in this film. Her costumes are first class. Romantic chapter between Allu Arjun and Catherine is really superb. Amala Paul is also looking gorgeous in the movie. Here she is a traditional Brahmin youngster. She had done a decent job here. Subbaraju is not up to the mark here. Rest of the cast Brahmanandam,  Nassar, Kaajal Vashisht,  Devshi Khanduri ,  Srinivas Reddy, Ali are done justice to their respective roles.

    Technical Aspects :
Locations in the film are quite nice. Amol Rathod’s cinematography is very good in a few scenes but it is surprisingly mediocre in some sequences. One gets the feeling that some of the visuals suffer from overexposure. Sekkhar’s editing is ok but a few scenes could have been trimmed in the second half. The bold one liners and punch dialogues that fans expect in a Puri Jagan film are very few in number. DSP’s background score is effective.
In terms of direction and character treatment, you will see a very different Puri Jagan in this movie. This Puri is more sober and mature. Is that a good thing for his fans? I am not very sure. Some people succeed most when they are bold and aggressive. Puri is one such guy.

    Final Word :
‘Iddarammayilatho’ is a beautiful and stylish movie of Allu Arjun and Puri Jagannath. Definitely it is a worthy watch.
