Sahasam fetched a decent opening at the box office. Collections over the weekend are impressive but the real test for the film starts now. Sahasam has to hold its ground on the weekdays to get a good share in the first week. Mixed talk and lack of entertainment are going to dent the film's chances say trade experts. With a couple of movies slated for release on this Friday, Sahasam will have to be very strong until Thursday to retain good number of screens in its second week.
Balupu and Singham have slowed down considerably and that should help this film to stay on top. Publicity for Sahasam is not so great when compared to Balupu and Singham, which have been benefited by the aggressive promotional campaign. Let's hope Sahasam will have the legs to run through to the safe zone. On a side note, this film is expected to breakeven for the investors in overseas areas. Thanks to the decent reviews.
