Better example for this claim is the incident that took place the other day. Except a couple of Telugu channels, rest of the media houses just showed live update of Jagan being released from Chanchalguda and escorted to Lotus Pond residence. From 3 pm to 10.30 pm, Jagan's journey was covered 'live' on 70% of Telugu channels the other day. More than Jagan's own Sakshi media, these other media houses have focused on the journey a lot by tracking minute to minute updates, and by airing every move and shake of the Kadapa MP.
Observers say that most media houses actually tried to cash on the craze, and for the sake of TRPs they focused solely on Jagan the other day evening. But some analysts add that media is trying to project Jagan as leader for the ongoing Seemandhra movement and hence continuous coverage of him.
On a whole it looks like Jagan got fans in media houses too and that too at top level. Some say these establishments are unable to control stories on the YSR Congress president as they hope Jagan might come into power one day.
