Emraan-Kareena’s Badtameez DIL not shelved

The much awaited Ekta Kapoor and Karan Johar’s joint production BADTAMEEZ DIL, which was scheduled to go on-floors in September, got delayed due to few changes in the script. The film stars Emraan Hashmi and Kareena Kapoor in the lead and is directed by Akshay Roy.

According to some media reports, BADTAMEEZ DIL has been hitting many road blocks before it goes on-floors, and is rumored to have been shelved. With Emraan Hashmi working with Kunal Deshmukh on SHAATIR and Kareena Kapoor allotting her dates for SHUDDHI opposite Hrithik Roshan, BADTAMEEZ DIL has taken a backseat.

However, after all these speculations, the movie hasn’t been shelved. It has been only marginally delayed and will surely be releasing in 2014. Rubbishing the reports of the movie being shelved, Balaji CEO, Tanuj Garg wrote on his micro-blogging site. ”Contrary to hilarious fictional media about the Balaji-Dharma film being shelved, the film is ON & releases next yr.Await further announcements.”

Well, let’s hope BADTAMEEZ DIL goes on-floors soon!
