Heroine's intimate scene a Publicity Stunt

Actress Nazriya Nazim has created a sensation the other day by filing a complaint against her film 'Naiyaandi' director Sargunam accusing him of using a body double in one of the intimate shots in the trailer and for the song 'Inikka Inikka'.

As per Director Sargunam's version, the team felt the necessity of one intimate close-up shot in the trailer to create some impact. As a result, the director requested Nazriya to come for the shoot. However, the actress made it clear she can't come all the way from Kerala for one single shot and asked him to use a body double.

Director even claims no dupe was used in the song 'Inikka Inikka'. He asked if Nazriya is ready to sit along with the media to watch the dance number and assert that she hasn't acted in the song. The director said he has no clue what Nazriya's real problem and described the controversy as a publicity stunt.

'Naiyaandi' is releasing on October 11th. The film stars Dhanush in lead role and Nazriya was cast opposite him for the first time.
