Dhoom 3's next song to be worth Rs 5 crore

With Aamir Khan playing the bad guy and Katrina looking like a million dollars, fans were not short of reasons to watch Dhoom 3.

But nevertheless, Aditya Chopra is not leaving any stones unturned for the promotion of his latest movie. According to sources, the filmmaker has spent Rs 5 crore on a song featuring Khan and Katrina.

Sometime back there were reports that the makers of Welcome Back had spent over Rs. 3 crore to shoot an item song featuring John Abraham. But Chopra's move will mean that Dhoom 3's song, a high energy number called 'Malang', will be one of the most expensive ones shot in Bollywood.

“The song features 200 professional gymnasts who were flown in from the US. And yes, the budget is roughly Rs. 5 crore,” says a source. The cost includes the fees of the gymnasts, their costumes and even the elaborate sets.

“The 200 artistes stayed in the city for 20 days as they were training. The set took nearly two months to be created,” adds the source.
