Orange Alert for Cyclone Helen

The western pacific may be quite but Cyclone Helen has now formed over the bay of Bengal. It is forecasted to make landfall as a severe Cyclonic storm with winds gusting up to 120kph. Or about the equivalent of Typhoon Strength Gust.

Orange alert has been issued , Cyclonic Storm, HELEN over west central Bay of Bengal. Cyclone Warning for South AP & adjoining north Tamilnadu coasts. Under influence of Cyclone HELEN, heavy to very heavy rainfall would occur over coastal Andhra commencing from 20th November 2013 night. Helen cyclone 460 km east,north east of Chennai .
