India in this 3rd test with its all round performance defeated Aussies by 6 wickets. India made 136 runs in 33.3 overs by losing 4 wickets. Team India closed the day even before 15 more balls were left for the close of the test.
Though there was a tension due to lesser number of balls, Captain Dhoni made it possible by hitting Three continuous Fours and confirmed the victory. With this win India has bagged the series of Four tests with 3-0 lead. Murali Vijay hit 26, Pujara 28, Kohli 34, Sachin 21, Dhoni 18 and Jadeja made 8 runs. The last and fourth test would start in Delhi from 22nd of March.
