In an interesting political development, Telugu film comedian Ali emerged as a 'blue eyed boy' for TDP and YSR Congress party. The two political parties vying each other to field him as its candidate in the next general election in Rajahmundry.
While the TDP is wooing Ali to contest as its candidate from Rajahmundry (Rural) Assembly constituency, the YSR party also trying to woo the film actor to fight the election in Rajahmundry as its candidate.
Veteran film actor Murali Mohan, who already made up his mind to test waters again from Rajahmundry Parliamentary constituency, is learnt to have been convincing Ali to rope him in Telugu Desam.
Ali, who hailed from Rajamundry , has been active in social service in his native place since years . He was conducting regular medical camps, distributing books to poor and render service to physically handicapped in memory of his father every year.
