Allu Arjun left no choice for Pawan Kalyan

Pawan Kalyan is one of the actors who is unpredictable with his choice of directors. He has done films with many debutantes and also with out of form directors. The latest surprise he has thrown is roping in Sampath Nandi as director for Gabbar Singh sequel. Many thought that Gabbar Singh 2 will also be handed over to Harish Shankar, who made the first one, which was a historic hit. Even Pawan Kalyan wanted to sign up Harish for the sequel.

However, Harish Shankar is currently busy with NTR's movie. He is planning to wrap it up by August. But he has already committed a film with Allu Arjun as the lead. Hairsh couldn't push that film back for Gabbar Singh 2 and Pawan Kalyan is in a hurry to make a sequel to his biggest blockbuster to date. Sources say Pawan Kalyan also developed the story idea of Gabbar sequel and he is pretty excited about it. He doesn't want to waste any time and hence decided to hand over the project to Sampath Nandi.
