Actress Revathi who has acted in all south Indian languages as a star heroine is finally getting divorced on April 22nd. The 46 year old Malayali actress got married to ace cinematographer Suresh Menon in 1986 and the couple got separated in 2002. However they filed for a mutual divorce petition on two separate occasions last year and a Chennai Court has given April 22nd 2013 as the date for final verdict after couple of hearings. Though the couple got married after a deep love-affair, differences popped up in time and they become incompatible. Also they were not blessed with a child, which is heard deepening the troubles further. Moreover, a divorce will be granted for the two, it appears.
Apart from winning Filmfare and National awards for her sensible acting in movies like Ankuram (Telugu) and Thevar Magan (Tamil), Revathi won accolades for directing movies like 'Mitr, my friend' and 'Phir Milenge'.
