'Make Hay While The Sun Shines' - This is the path actresses usually choose as their career span is very limited. However, there is one beauty who claims to be not in a hurry to make some quick bucks by cashing her stardom. She is none other than golden-leg Samantha!
Responding to the media reports that she demanded a pay package of Rs 1.75 crore for one of her upcoming films, Samantha replied,"Currently, I have six projects in my hand. You can enquire with any of the producers of these projects. If anyone among them confirms the amount quoted by media as true, I will give away that remuneration to you".
"I have be part of nearly 20 films until now. For none of my films, I have taken a remuneration of Rs 1 crore or more. This is undeniable truth. Basically, I'm a shy person and I can't stress on money matter while signing a project," she added.
Samantha feels lucky to get good roles in all of her future projects. She is done with the shoot of Autonagar Surya with Naga Chaitanya. Films with Pawan Kalyan (Trivikram's film) and NTR (Ramayya Vastavayya) are on the sets. She would begin the shoot of NTR's Rabasa, Suriya-Lingusamy flick and Bellankonda Srinivas in the second half of 2013.
