Police have arrested an actor for the first time in the ongoing Spot Fixing scandal which got unveiled with the arrest of three cricketers including Sreesanth.
Bollywood actor Vindoo Randhawa, who happens to be son of veteran wrestler Dara Singh, was arrested today in connection with the IPL Spot Fixing scandal. The 49 year old actor was spotted many times watching IPL matches and attending post match parties. Though the link between cricket players and Vindoo is yet to be found out, police revealed that the actor is in contact with bookies. Sources are saying that many more small time Bollywood actors and actress are under scanner of Delhi Special branch police at the moment. Also police questioned a casting director and a Telugu producer in connection with the fixing scandal. Looks like, this IPL Fixing Scandal got many roots that needs to be unearthed.
Already, Delhi special police had arrested Sreesanth, his Rajasthan Royals teammates Ajith Chandila and Ankit Chavan, and his cousin Jiju on May 15th for their alleged involvement in spot-fixing in the ongoing sixth edition of IPL.
