The decision was taken in a board meeting at the BJP office in New Delhi very soon after grand success of the mega rally of Narendra Modi on Sunday in the national capital.
BJP's senior leader Ananth Kumar confirmed, "BJP President Rajnath Singh replaces Narendra Modi as party's election campaign committee chief."
Speculations were rife that Rajnath would be made chief poll campaign chief soon after Modi was announced as Party's prime ministerial candidate. From now, Rajnath Singh will take care of all the responsibilities as the party's chief poll campaigner.
