New Delhi: With the Group of Ministers headed by Union Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde completing meetings with almost all political parties, barring the TDP, which chose to boycott, it is busy giving final touches to the much awaited Telangana Bill to be sent to the Cabinet.
“We have completed the exercise of eliciting views of all political parties from the state. We will hold couple of more meetings among ourselves and given final touches to draft T-Bill,” said the Union Home Minister. He assured to prepare the Bill and send it to the Cabinet from where it will go the President Pranab Mukherjee. The President may refer the Bill to AP state assembly thereafter. “That’s the procedure, we propose to follow as of now,” he made it clear.
This was confirmed by the PCC President Botsa Satyanarayan, who during an interaction with newsmen on Tuesday admitted that in fact the Home Minister had informed the Chief Minister soon after his meeting yesterday that the Bill in all probability like to be referred to the state assembly by month-end.
