Supreme Court has rejected the petition lodged by Big Producers to extend the time for this convicted hero to surrender before jail authorities. This came as a big punch to Sanjay Dutt , who is expecting some relief at least today as he got only two more days left to surrender.
May 16th happens to be the deadline for Sanjay's surrender before jail authorities to face three years of jail life as he was found guilty for his involvement in 1993 Mumbai serial blasts. SC made it clear that there is no question of thinking about the welfare of producers who invested huge money on Sanjay Dutt. After rejecting his review-petition earlier, the Apex court made clear that Sanjay should surrender by May 16th, and there is no reconciliation of this decision.
No question of what happens, Sanjay Dutt will be leading a very simple and hard working life from day after tomorrow earning Rs 35 per day by doing simple work in jail.
