According to the inside talk of those who happened to present at the censor screening of Ramayya Vastavayya, the film is just average. There is a feeling that the title has nothing to do with the content of the film. To the top of it rumours about NTR's role as a student and police officer are found to be totally wrong. The film lacks comedy and entertainment quotient is very less.The film collections according to analysts will be in the lines of Tarak's earlier film Dammu.
Many feel Dil Raju is realsing the film despite the circumstances taking calculated risk only to cash in on the initial craze generated by the film's teasers and trailers.
