As Naidu appointed Nani as Vijayawada parliamentary constituency in-charge, it is being presumed that he would get the Lok Sabha seat. It is learnt that hero Bala Krishna was behind bringing Kesineni Nani into TDP. He inadvertently hurt Gadde Rama Mohan Rao who is a senior leader. Now Gadde is also trying for the Vijayawada seat. This has resulted in a vertical rift between the two groups, causing in fight.
Gadde is preparing for showdown with Naidu. He wants to meet him and demand Lok Sabha ticket to him, despite Nani being the constituency in-charge. Meanwhile, Nani is setting up his offices in different areas of the Vijayawada constituency to strengthen his winning chances in the 2014 Parliament elections. The fight for the Vijayawada ticket is turning intense by the day.
Gadde Rama Mohana Rao was elected to the Assembly as an independent, from the Gannavaram constituency in 1994. Promising him ticket from the same constituency, Naidu brought him into TDP. However in 1999 as equations did not work out, Naidu gave him Vijayawada MP ticket, instead of the promised Gannavaram Assembly ticket.
In 2004, Naidu gave Vijayawada MP ticket to film producer Aswini Dutt ignoring the claim of Gadde for the seat. In 2009, Gadde’s claim was once again ignored as the Vijayawada MP ticket was given to Vallabhaneni Vamsi under pressure from hero Jr. NTR. As he was denied ticket twice, Gadde is now preparing for a head on collision with Naidu. If he does not get the ticket, he might explore other possibilities including joining the YSR Congress, say sources.
